Former President of Palau Visits Soka Gakkai Headquarters

On September 28, former president of the Republic of Palau Tommy Remengesau visited the Soka Gakkai Headquarters in Tokyo and met with Soka Gakkai Senior Vice President Hiromasa Ikeda. He expressed his gratitude for President Daisaku Ikeda’s efforts to promote friendship between Palau and Japan through people-to-people and educational exchanges. He also expressed his expectations for the ongoing efforts of the SGI (Soka Gakkai International) toward the resolution of global issues and voiced his hope that the SGI would play a leading role in promoting environmental protection and peace.
