SGI Joins Club of Rome Commemorative Event

On June 17, Vice Chair of SGI Europe Robert Harrap attended an event in Rome, Italy, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the key Club of Rome report the Limits to Growth that was published in 1972. Four panel discussions were held under the overall theme “Enlightened leadership: Navigating the human predicament in the 21st century.” Mr. Harrap introduced the concept of human revolution during a panel discussion on “The Human Problématique.” The event was followed by a commemoration of the life of Club of Rome cofounder Aurelio Peccei, who coauthored the dialogue Before it is Too Late with President Daisaku Ikeda.
