SGI Supports Launch of “Immoral Code” Film

On May 19, the SGI, Amnesty International, Mines Action Canada and Article 36 supported the launch of the film “Immoral Code” in London. The 23-minute documentary, created by the Stop Killer Robots coalition, and available online, calls for new international law on autonomous weapons systems. Hayley Ramsay-Jones, director of the SGI Office for UN Affairs Geneva Liaison Office and representative of the Stop Killer Robots Working Group on Intersectionality, advised the filmmakers on issues related to representation, race and gender.
