On May 8, a peace garden was opened at the Soka Gakkai of Spain center in Rivas-Vaciamadrid City, Spain. The opening ceremony was attended by some 140 people including Mayor Pedro del Cura, Co-President of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW) Carlos Umaña and Secretary of State for the 2030 Agenda Enrique Santiago Romero. Mayor Pedro del Cura commended local members for their contributions to the community. Local Future Division members helped plant trees, wishing for a peaceful society.
