To My Friends

This year marks the brilliant 67th
anniversary of the Seikyo newspaper.
I express my deepest appreciation to
the entire readership, all the deliverers,
volunteer correspondents and those
in charge of promoting subscriptions.
May the paper continue to spread words of
encouragement as the “Seikyo” of the world!

When we encourage one another in faith
and unite in solidarity with the spirit of
“many in body, one in mind,”
our respective abilities and strengths
will multiply a thousandfold and
our courage and wisdom, a millionfold!
Let’s continue to forge ahead
evermore brightly and
evermore harmoniously!

Nichiren Daishonin states,
“Those who hear … will attain

Buddhahood without fail.”(*)
When people are able to make
a connection with Buddhism,

or phrase, they are able to gain
boundless benefits.
Let’s continue engaging in Buddhist
dialogue for the sake of our friends!

Those who set daily goals and
continue to challenge them are strong.
If our focus is vague, we cannot
develop genuine strength.
Let’s follow through with faith and
practice that is ever-growing.

with such resolve are the champions
and championesses of life!
