To My Friends

I express my appreciation to the
deliverers of our organizational
newspaper who make their deliveries
without succumbing to the extreme heat.
I am praying for the health and safety of
our noble “uncrowned” treasured friends!

The Daishonin stated,
“The ray of light from the daimoku reaches
all the way to the hell of incessant suffering
and makes it possible for [the deceased] to attain
Buddhahood then and there.”(*)
Chanting daimoku based on the spirit of
“practice for oneself and others” serves
as the ultimate memorial for the deceased.
Together, let’s embark on a journey to
manifest in our lives the four noble virtues
of “eternity, joy, true self and purity.”
