Toy Collection for Children
The SGI-USA National and Zone youth leaders would like to express their appreciation to everyone who supported the SGI-USA toy collection drive for children affected by Hurricane Katrina. This effort to provide a little bit of comfort to the youngest victims of Hurricane Katrina came to a successful close on Sunday September 18th.
Over 10,000 toys were collected at the SGI-USA Dallas Culture Center and continue to be distributed to children in nearby shelters. Several thousand more toys are being distributed from other SGI-USA facilities across the United States.
