The Daishonin teaches us that
“The four debts of Buddhism [includes]
(1) the debt of gratitude to be paid to
one’s father and mother.”(*)
Youth, shine by striving to be good
sons and daughters and treating your
parents with kindness and care.
This is admirable proof of one’s growth
and development as a human being.
